Sitting home and listening to music...

...in what is now my home (although it's still her name on the lease). I'm getting used to the concept, although it still feels unnatural. It's a more relaxed atmosphere, because I'm not worried about waking her up, but it feels empty. She belongs on that couch, the one I still can't bring myself to use, recovering from the night before. This is a bit like bereavement, except that she's still out there in the world. I still feel that I have to try and make the place tidy before she comes back, whenever that might be.

Today I shall go to Sofia's place and install a firewall and virus checker on her P.C. She's been surfing naked for over a year, except for the inbuilt Windows firewall; is that any good these days? I'm so out of date. And then perhaps we and her sister Anna shall watch "Kiki's Delivery Service" and "Tortoro", which they've never seen. Sofia is a huge Disney fan, I'll be interested to see what she'll make of them. I remember hearing that Studio Ghibli had been bought by Disney but maintained as an independent studio.

And next week we work from 6.30 'till 16.30. Oh, joy. Hard to complain when so many others are losing their jobs.
